Anytime one of our members has a new release, a great review, or wins an award, we want to share the good news.  Want to be considered?  First, you must be a member author.  Then you need to contact us with information about your book(s).  Have a new release coming out?  Received an award?  Let us know why you should be the next Alaskan Author to be in the spotlight.  We will also submit the story for consideration to local newspapers around the state!

Our current author in the spotlight is Sue Ann Bowling with her award winning book, Homecoming.

I knew this was a great science fiction novel as soon as my teenage son couldn't put it down and gave it a rave review.  He is an avid reader who is quick to point out plot and character flaws. 

When I read the book myself, I was not disappointed.  Sue Ann has created a universe that readers find themselves pulled into, and characters that we can relate to.  

Our members are amazing!  We have a very diverse and talented group of authors.  Our author in the spotlight is one example.  Thanks to all of our authors for your hard work and dedication.

 It was no surprise to me when Sue Ann Bowling won the coveted Readers Choice Award for 2011.  Congratulations to Sue Ann. 

Her second book is due to be out this year and I am looking forward to it.  Look for Homecoming at all of our events around the state this year.
